Offered in coupe and roadster forms, the Z3 was the first BMW car to be produced outside Germany. A variety of 4 and 6 cylinder engines were offered from the sedan range and were mated to manual and automatic transmissions. The Z3 gained some quick fame when it was James Bond's car of choice...in GoldenEye and a rare special edition was even offered. The M performance model was introduced in 1997 and featured the 240hp S52 3.2L straight six and 5-speed manual transmission. Other upgrades included more aerodynamic wing-mirrors, redesigned front and rear bumpers, revised side gill, 17-inch wheels, quad exhausts, and engine and oil temperature gauges in the center console. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this nice 1999 Z3M for your consideration. Finished in a classic BMW Titanium Silver Metallic, this car is in great condition. The paint is very nice and the body is straight and has only a few minor imperfections. The exterior is bolstered by the M upgrades including 17in light alloy wheels with newer Hankook tires. The alloy wheels do show some curb rash. The black convertible top is in great shape and overall the car is very solid. The rare red interior features very nice leather seats and tons of M performance logos. The interior shows very little wear and is quite well equipped with power windows, power mirrors, air conditioning, cruise control, Business CD audio system, and a leather wrapped sports wheel. There is some wear on a few of the plastic parts on the interior trim. It also features an aftermarket luggage rack on the decklid. This car runs and drives very well, with great steering, brakes, and tight suspension. The car has been well cared for by its previous owner and spent its whole life in Florida. The car has low miles, and has been with its previous owner for the last 19 years. You will not be disappointed by this incredibly fun to drive vehicle. Selling my manual transmission 1999 BMW M3 with 119,000 miles in estoril blue metallic with the dove interior Car runs and drives great, original 5-speed manual, has had all the maintenance done it needed, the whole cooling system was replaced at 80k, valve cover gasket was replaced, control arms were replaced, belts were replaced, all the coils packs and spark plugs have less than 2,000 miles, clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder are brand new, always had oil changes done with Mobil 1 full synthetic oil every 3,500 miles One owner from 1999-2017, I'm the second owner. Have three keys, two remotes, all tools are in trunk, original matching spare wheel, original sticker price sheet, comes with all original booklets, manuals, cassettes etc. Has the rare Estoril Blue Metallic paint with the dove grey interior along with a black top, only 317 stick shift convertibles were produced in this color combo. Has a authentic Recaro SPG racing seat which was $1000, optional Recaro pillow, and seat bracket and rail. Seat is very comfortable and holds you in snug, FIA certified till 2020. Has a K&N air filter, and Borla sport muffler for better flow and sound. All floor mats were replaced with original new mats a few months ago, new ZHP M shift knob, all new wheel caps, new front and rear OEM badges, battery was changed 2 months ago with a fresh Interstate, lots of new plastic OEM trim pieces, new clips, new center console, clear euro rear lights and corners, new clear rear convertible window Car was professionally repainted two months ago, paint looks super fresh Unfortunately car has a rebuilt title due to a small accident, car had no frame damage just had the door and fender replaced, can provide pictures if you are a serious buyer. Convertible motors need to be re synced or serviced, top opens and closes but sometimes gets stuck, also has check engine because the catalytic converter was removed, parking brake needs to be tightened.
